I began my career in professional lawn care all the way back in 1983, which makes me one of the most experienced lawn care operators in southwest Ohio. I chose this field of work because I get tremendous enjoyment out of seeing
the results we achieve for our customers year-after-year. The customer relationships we have created have truly stood the test of time, as many of our customers have been with us for almost two decades.
The approach we have taken with respect to lawn care programs is completely unique. First off, we employ methods that are "site-specific," completely customized for individual properties based on turf varieties, environmental conditions, performance history and budget. To the best of my knowledge, we are the only lawn care company in southwest Ohio that treats properties with this degree of specificity...in certain cases, we even treat portions of the same lawn differently! Secondly, we include soil amendments in our treatment program as part of the regular treatment regimen. Thousands of soil tests have shown us a specific flaw in soil conditions that we simply cannot overlook. Amending soil conditions improves nutrient uptake and metabolization, reduces disease susceptibility, increases thatch
decomposition (by stimulating microbial activity) and improves turf tolerance of heat and drought. There are other benefits, as well. The bottom line is this...our program builds turf from the roots up, because we focus attention to the details and to the needs of turf in the root zone. All of our visible achievements begin with a sound approach to soil quality and the needs of plants from a purely biologicial perspective. Thirdly, we take the very best products
availableand put them to use on our properties, regardless of product cost. For example, we use broadleaf weed control products that cost nearly three times more than the products many companies use, because they yield results on hard-to-kill weeds like violets, ground ivy and clover. Our philosophy is, spend more on products and the quality of our work up front, because it makes for happier customers and fewer service calls (which are free!) later on. Fourthly, our Technicians are not overworked or underpaid! Our program demands Technicians think and respond to turf needs visit-by-visit. We don't have "robots" who simply do the same thing over and over again all day long. In our view, that won't be successful in the end. When we treat your lawn, we take the time to survey "current" conditions, respond with necessary treatments and give our customers updates as to how things are progressing. Our "leave-behind" literature backs up this high level of communication, keeping our customers informed and "in the loop." It should be important for you to know that your Technician is not given large volumes of work to complete as part of a daily "quota." Our workloads give time for the applicator to do all the tasks necessary and keep focus on individual lawns, not how much work they have to complete. Finally, ShowPlace is locally owned and operated, which means you are supporting the local economy with every dollar you invest in lawn or tree and shrub care services. The money doesn't quickly leave the Miami Valley for parts unknown.

In summation, ShowPlace Lawn & Tree Care, Inc. offers these benefits:

The field of professional lawn care today provides customers a wide range of choices to pick from. It is our belief, that when you truly examine companies by the finest of points, you'll come to the conclusion that ShowPlace is a wise choice. I've said to many customers when visiting with them for the first time, this statement:

"I welcome the opportunity to meet with customers face-to-face, because within five minutes of discussing our programs, experience and how we implement procedures, I'll have gained their trust and created an enthusiasm about treating their lawn that they may have never had before."

Please feel free to contact me, personally, at any time to meet with you and discuss the unique needs of your lawn or landscape. I know, without question, that the time we spend discussing your property will prove mutually beneficial.
